Andrea Rossi confirmed that preliminary tests have begun on the 1 MW plant to be launched on October 28th. His engineers are verifying last details and make sure that the E-Cat will perform at its highest potential at the upcoming demonstration.
For such a big event, attended by so many notable scientists and journalists, tests and preparations are expected.
The general public will be kept informed by hourly semi-live reports and a final comprehensive report and video at the end of the day.
This is very good news, as most of the enthusiasts were expecting the report to be released days after the test, this making it impossible for the journalists to deliver their observations and the results immediately after the event, without a report of the numbers, to elaborate on.
Live feeds of the experiment are out of the question due to the specific request of the customer that his specialists should not be videotaped.
All this secrecy sparks the public interest regarding customer’s identity, and all the details provided by Rossi by now create even more questions than answering them.
The mysterious customer is going to be directing the entire tests and his experts will be performing the operation. Rossi mentioned that the customer is based in the United States and due to its particularity, can not have its identity disclosed.
The contract signed by Rossi and the client consists in the following terms: if the E-Cat performs well in tests and meets the specifications demanded by the customers, they will purchase the device, otherwise, Rossi has 2 months to correct the E-Cat and bring it to the required parameters.
Customer’s attitude regarding its identity is understandable in the case of a transaction that involves a device considered impossible.
Supporting such a controversial idea could cause much damage to a company’s reputation and credibility.
